So this post began as just talking about Crimson Echoes and Flames of Eternity but blew up into every good CT ROM hack, enjoy!įor those that don't know of these, back in the mid to late 2000's there was a major Chrono Trigger fan sequel called Crimson Echoes (Wikipedia & Chronopedia Summaries, TV Tropes page). Also, from what I played of Crimson Echoes, Frog was completely OOC. The ones who own the rights to the franchise made that decision, and so that's the way it is. But yes, I realize that Chrono Cross is indeed the sequel to Chrono Trigger.
